Steph Curry has made his feelings clear on his place in the GOAT debate with Michael Jordan and LeBron James

Steph Curry is one of the NBA's biggest ever stars.

Steph Curry has previously spoken about his position in the NBA GOAT debate.

Curry has so far spent his entire career playing for the Golden State Warriors and will forever be remembered as one of the finest players in NBA history.

To date, the 37-year-old has won the NBA title on four occasions and was named NBA Most Valuable Player twice and the NBA Finals MVP once.

Curry is often in the GOAT debate alongside the likes of Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Back in 2019, Curry was asked whether he thinks he is one of the sport's greatest players.

He said on TODAY: "I got more work to do, honestly, people want to speak about it like that, I feel like the way I got here is by keeping my head down and grinding.

"So, I'm not going to switch that up, my confidence is already there, you put me in a room with those dudes, I'm going to hold my own, trust me. I'm good where I'm at, I know who I am."

In 2022, Curry was asked to pick between himself and the legendary Jordan, he simply replied: "Mike, I love you man but it's me."

When asked to pick between himself and James, the 37-year-old said: "What do you expect me to say, it's me."

Jordan once claimed that Curry is a great player but not a Hall of Famer yet, in response, Curry said to Matt Welty during an interview for Sole Collector: "I think I’m good, but then I’m never complacent.

"I know I have more to prove to myself. When you hear a guy like that, who’s the greatest of all time, it’s kind of funny."

He added: "Since we’ve been on this stage, we’ve heard a lot of retired guys chiming in on this generation of basketball players and evaluating talent and saying their generation was better and all that.

"It’s a great conversation for the fans to get in on. I know I’m in good shape for that, but I still have a lot to prove to myself."

Since Jordan's comments over five years ago, Curry has achieved several impressive accolades, including winning a fourth NBA championship in 2022 and winning gold at the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024.
