Mike Tyson dropped a very, very honest opinion about Conor McGregor as he made a 'gimmick' claim while describing what he's like in 'real life' in a fascinating assessment.
The boxing legend gave the realest take on the UFC superstar during an episode of Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson in February 2023.
The 57-year-old, who was joined by wrestling icon The Undertaker, discussed the Irishman as he made reference to his 'gimmick', calling him 'crazy' and 'bold'.
The former world heavyweight champion said: via Mirror: “You have to have a gimmick. It’s real, but it’s a gimmick. The only guys that have all the money have a gimmick. Look at Conor McGregor. He has a gimmick. He’s crazy, he’s bold, it’s a gimmick. In real life, he’s a beautiful guy.

"Boxing is not entertainment. The fighters entertain, but after one fight is over and there’s an intermission."
Tyson also compared the UFC model to boxing, adding: “The UFC, when they have an intermission, it’s a party. Some people just go for the party, talk, do business.
"That’s why the UFC is more advanced than boxing. Boxers get paid more money, but the entity of the UFC is billions.”

He suffered a nasty ankle break against Dustin Poirier during their lightweight bout back at UFC 264.
But the 'Notorious' has recovered and is raring to go as he plots his Octagon return.
A fight against MMA veteran Michael Chandler is lined up, having competed against him as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter.
McGregor is on a two-fight losing streak following back-to-back defeats to Poirier and has not won a UFC fight since January 2020.
