UFC president Dana White was left fuming with Clay Guida after the MMA star faked a retirement in order to get some microphone time.
The 41-year-old took off his gloves following his unanimous decision loss to Rafa Garcia at UFC Fight Night at T-Mobile Center.
It seemed as though the fighter had an announcement to make as Daniel Cormier approach him for an interview.

Guida started the interview as though he was going to call it a day and hang up his gloves.
Cormier asks: “Clay, you took your gloves off. Are you walking away from the game?”
Guida replies: “I tricked you guys. There ain’t no way I’m walking away yet.”
He went on to congratulate his opponent Rafa Garcia on the performance and asked to trade gloves with him.

He then gave some shoutouts to ‘some very special people’ at the arena that night and went on to wish his mother a happy birthday, according to MMA Junkie.
Cormier slowly removed the microphone from the lightweight and the event continued on, seemingly, without a hitch.
But the fact that Guida has delayed the event with his ‘fake retirement’ certainly irked the UFC boss.
Speaking at the post-fight press conference, Dana White was not happy at all with the fighter.
He said: “That pissed me off, to be honest with you.

“That pissed me off. I like [Clay Guida], he’s a nice guy, but you’re faking you’re retirement so you can say f***ing happy birthday to somebody?
“We’re running a live event here, you know what I mean? I was not happy about that.”
The MMA head honcho was asked whether he believed Guida had played the UFC in order to just get some airtime.
White continued: “I don’t know what he was—he was saying happy birthday to somebody or something.

“That was not good.”
For future reference, don’t wish your mother a happy birthday on White’s watch.
