Conor McGregor wasn’t shy about making his presence known at UFC’s rival Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s event over the weekend.
The Irishman shocked the combat sports world when he stepped in the ring to face off with main event winner Mike Perry.
However, his influence on proceedings went beyond making headlines for his appearance inside the ring.

A coach on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, the Notorious one put on his coaching hat during Eddie Alvarez’s bout with Chad Mendes.
Fans paying keen attention to the fight noticed McGregor shouting out instructions to Alvarez during the third round.
It was two of his former opponents in the UFC up against each other, but it looked as though the former double-champ was playing favourites.
As Alvarez was trying to unload on Mendes, McGregor’s distinct Irish accent could be heard yelling: “Uppercut!”

Mere moments later Eddie landed a huge blow to the chin of his opponent.
In a pretty awesome moment, he pointed toward his former UFC rival in acknowledgement of the advice he’d received.
And fans were equally impressed with the ring IQ from McGregor.

Mike Perry fought Luke Rockhold in the main event, with the former UFC middleweight champion calling it quits in the second round.
However, the shocks didn’t end there as perhaps the biggest name in combat sports decided to step into the ring following the fight.
Perry called out Conor McGregor for a staredown, and the Notorious one obliged - entering the ring with a BKFC championship over his shoulder.

The two stared each other down as the former UFC double-champ congratulated his adversary on his efforts in the sport.
It was a shocking turn of events with the MMA star turning up and being a showpiece part of a rival promotion’s show.
