Masters fans called out Scottie Scheffler for what he did after presenting Rory McIlroy with the green jacket at Augusta National.
McIlroy won the 2025 Masters Tournament at Augusta in one of the most thrilling finishes to a sporting event, fending off Justin Rose in a sudden death play-off.
The Northern Irishman entered the day with a two-shot lead but, despite briefly losing the advantage early on to Bryson DeChambeau after a double bogey, regained his composure and had a four-shot lead early in the back nine.

But a weak shot into the water on 13 dropped him back towards the pack, and Rose - who had started the day seven shots behind - was on the charge.
The Englishman carded a final round 66 to finish on 11-under-par, and was already in the clubhouse when McIlroy, a shot ahead, needed par on the 18th for the green jacket.
But he agonisingly missed his par putt by a matter of inches, meaning a play-off hole under the most unimaginable of pressure.

But it was second time lucky for McIlroy as he played a sensational approach with his second shot, before nailing his putt to win the Masters and the career grand slam.
As per Augusta tradition, he was then presented with the iconic green jacket by the previous winner, Scheffler, in a special ceremony inside the club.
But after presenting him with the jacket, fans noticed that Scheffler didn't shake McIlroy's hand and quickly stood back in position.
While it is worth noting that he did embrace him when presenting him with the jacket for a second time in front of spectators - and some fans opined that he was right to simply allow McIlroy to have his moment - others weren't so sure.

One wrote: "Thought it strange that Scheffler didn't shake Rory's hand."
Another agreed: "That was poor from Scheffler. Didn't even shake his hand. Put the jacket on him and walked off."
A third asked: "What's the story with Scottie? Not even a 'well done' and just melted away. Very awkward."
Scheffler finished fourth at Augusta with a score of eight-under-par, securing over $1,000,000 in prize money.
