Bryson DeChambeau's claim about Rory McIlroy has been disputed following the Northern Irishman's long-awaited 2025 Masters win on Sunday.
14 years on from his heartbreak at August in 2011, McIlroy finally got his hands on the coveted green jacket while becoming just the sixth player to complete the Grand Slam in golf.
It wasn't a plain-sailing victory, with McIlroy taking a two shot lead into the final round after a slow start in the opener.

But he actually proceeded to blew a four-shot lead and missed a putt to secure the win, with many wondering whether another collapse was going to happen.
However, McIlroy maintained his composure and got the job done in a sudden death play-off against Justin Rose with a birdie on the first bonus 18th hole to win his first major since 2014 and claim a record £3.2 million in prize money.
The 35-year-old was completely locked in and admitted that he was "in a cocoon" during the tournament.
McIlroy was partnered with two-time major winner DeChambeau at the Masters and at one point it looked like it was going to be a showdown between the two for the green jacket.

The American ended up finishing tied in fifth and after McIlroy's victory, he claimed that the winner didn't say anything to him throughout the final day.
"No idea," DeChambeau said after being asked how McIlroy was feeling.
"I didn't talk to him once all day. He wouldn't talk to me."
The claim from DeChambeau received mixed reactions from fans online but one user proceeded to point out that McIlroy did actually speak to him.
