Rory McIlroy has updated his social media bio for the first time in 15 years just days after winning the Masters.
McIlroy joined an elite list over the weekend after winning the prestigious tournament in Augusta with a dramatic final round of action which put him ahead of Justin Rose, as previous rival for the green jacket Bryson DeChambeau fell away.
The 35-year-old followed in the same footsteps as Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan and Gary Player to become only the sixth man in history to complete a career Grand Slam and win all four major golf tournaments which take place over the year.
McIlroy had already won the US Open in 2011 and the PGA Championship in 2012.

He then won another PGA Championship and The Open Championship in 2014, but had to wait another 11 years to win the Masters and complete the Grand Slam.
The Northern Irishman admitted his triumph had been a long time coming and the emotional scenes when victory was sealed on the 18th hole acted as a release for him.
He said: "I would say it was 14 years in the making.
"Going out with a four-shot lead in 2011 and feeling like I could have got it done there.

"A lot of pent-up emotion came out on the 18th green. A moment like that makes all the years and all the close calls worth it."
The victory saw McIlroy be granted a famous green jacket which is bestowed to winners of the Masters, as well as a cool $4.2m for winning the tournament, with a new record as the prize purse for all those taking part rising to a new high of $21m.
And in light of the win which has completed the Grand Slam for him, McIlroy has taken to social media to make an important update to his bio in light of the achievement.

Before he won the Masters, McIlroy's bio on X, formerly known as Twitter, and on Instagram, read: "I hit a little white ball around a field sometimes."
However, his victory at Augusta and completing the Grand Slam has led to McIlroy highlighting this achievement and changing it for the first time since September 2010.
His bio now simply reads: "Grand Slam winner."
And his most recent post on the platform shows a picture of McIlroy lifting the Masters trophy, accompanied by the caption: "Dreams do come true."

It is an update McIlroy is likely to have relished and something he has waited long enough to do.
