Steph Curry says Barack Obama 'got under his skin' following his brutal comment during a round of golf.
Curry has won four NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors and is a two-time MVP winner, having claimed the individual accolade in back-to-back years in 2015 and 2016.
The 37-year-old is not just one of the greatest point guards in NBA history but also an avid golfer, having been introduced to the sport at the age of 10.
In a sit-down interview with Michael Jordan, Curry agreed with the basketball legend's bold claim about golf being the hardest sport to play.
And when he appeared on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, Curry opened up about playing a round of golf with Obama, who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017.
During his time at the White House, Obama played over 300 rounds of golf while in office despite the demands of the position.
He made plenty of friends including Curry, who claimed he was the better golfer between the two.
"I'm a better golfer, but in golf, you play with a handicap, so everything’s pretty fair," he told Ellen DeGeneres. "The last two times I’ve played, I’ve lost to him."
When asked to reveal Obama's handicap, Curry replied: "That's top secret."

"During his speeches, he has that very slow cadence that kind of draws you in," he added. "He brings that same kind of vibe to his trash talk. So I'll hit a shot out of bounds, and he'll just look like, 'Yeah, that's not a good shot. I'm going to need you to do better next time'. So it gets under your skin, too, because I'm like, 'I know. I hit out of bounds'."
