Steph Curry has already named his 'toughest' opponent - and it’s not LeBron James or Kobe Bryant.
Curry, 36, is widely considered to be one of the best NBA players of the past two decades and boasts four championships as well as being a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP).
And despite playing against the likes of LeBron, 40, and Luka Doncic, he named another star as his ‘toughest’ opponent during his 16-year NBA career.
He revealed that his brother, Seph, who currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets, was his ‘toughest’ opponent.

“Oh, that's a great question,” Curry told GQ in 2022. “Honestly, my brother, because he knows my game so well, and there's always that kind of vibe of him disarming me.
“When I'm out there, 'cause I feel like, I'm so proud to see my brother out there on the court, I kind of get lost in that moment.
“But outside of Seth, I'd probably say Tony Allen or Avery Bradley.”
In 2023, Curry also mentioned Allen and Bradley alongside another former basketball player who he found it hard to play against.

“There’s a group of three that always ... the lightbulb went off when they were on the court,” said Curry when speaking to the Today Show back in 2023.
“It’s Jrue Holiday, Tony Allen, and Ron Artest, actually. I didn’t get to play too many games against [Artest], but he had the strongest hands you’ve ever seen in your life.”
Curry himself will no doubt be several players’ toughest opponent, with Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal recently suggesting that the 36-year-old should be in the greatest of all time (GOAT) debate alongside LeBron and Michael Jordan.
"I demand you fans to start putting Steph Curry in that greatest-of-all-time conversation," said Shaq when speaking on NBA on TNT earlier in March.

"I played against Mike [Michael Jordan], played with Kobe [Bryant], played against and with LeBron [James]. They're all great, but at some point, we're going to have to put Steph Curry in that category."
Curry has also weighed in with his take on the GOAT debate.
"I ascribe to the mindset that there are multiple GOATs," Curry told Willie Geist on Today in 2023.
"And I hate that, it's not a cop-out answer, but it's so hard to compare eras."

"And getting into that conversation of 'oh if you put Michael in this era or if you put LeBron in that era,' it's kind of unfair," he added. "It's a great barbershop debate, and it's something that'll never stop until the end of time.”
