Wrexham are plotting a stunning free transfer for an ex-Manchester United player as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney target a huge signing.
Wrexham have secured back-to-back promotions in the last two seasons as the Welsh side eye a third successive promotion this season.
They currently occupy second place in the League One standings, with 78 points on the board.

Wrexham have maintained their push since January, having recruited strikers Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez.
Smith, 26, arrived from rivals Reading for an undisclosed fee, understood to be a historic deal for the club.
Rodriguez, 35, also moved for an undisclosed fee from Burnley until the end of the 2025/26 season.
And Wrexham plan to reinforce their team this summer, especially if they do secure a spot in next season's Championship.
According to The Daily Mail, Wrexham are interested in signing Rangers' Tom Lawrence, who came through the ranks at Man United's youth academy.

Lawrence's existing contract expires at the end of the season, with the report claiming he's 'opening the door' to a potential move away as a free agent this summer.
Several clubs in the UK and abroad are keeping tabs on his situation, including Reynolds and McElhenney's side, who are prepared to make an 'ambitious' attempt to lure the Wrexham-born forward to the Racecourse Ground.
Lawrence is also attracting interest from Championships clubs, with Burnley, Coventry City, West Brom, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers all monitoring the player who has played nearly 300 games in England's second tier.
In Europe, Olympiacos, PAOK and Besiktas, who are coached by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, are also interested.

Lawrence has not ruled out extending his stay at Rangers either.
The 31-year-old signed for Rangers in the summer of 2022 and has scored 11 goals in 65 matches across all competitions for the Scottish side.
He graduated from Man United's youth academy and played one game for the Old Trafford club. He enjoyed a slew of loan spells away from the Red Devils whilst being on the books.

The Welshman played for Carlisle United, Yeovil Town, Leicester City, Rotherham United, Blackburn Rovers, Cardiff City and Ipswich Town before signing for Derby County on a permanent deal in the summer of 2017 before venturing to Scotland.
