Real Madrid have released a statement amid reports they are confident of signing Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe.
Reports from Spain's Diario AS claimed that Real are growing increasingly confident that they will poach Mbappe from PSG this summer for free.
The 24-year-old has been linked with the Spanish giants for years and it is widely anticipated that he will finally grace the Bernabeu once his contract at PSG comes to an end at the end of the season.

Indeed, Diario AS, alleged that while a fresh contract extension at PSG still hasn't been completely ruled out, the French giants are no longer desperate to bring in a sizeable fee for the France captain.
That is partly due to the fact that Mbappe has reportedly agreed to forego around £87million in loyalty bonuses which he would have been owed, leaving Real on red alert.
Amid said reports however, Real have released a statement denying they are in negotiations with Mbappe.

The club said: “Given information in the media about negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid state that this information is categorically false.
“Negotiations have not taken place with a player who belongs to PSG”.
Mbappe looked set to join Real back in 2022, but a change of heart resulted in him putting pen to paper on a new contract with PSG.
However, this summer it emerged that the final year of Mbappe's deal is optional, meaning he can leave in 2024.
