Kylian Mbappe has officially announced he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain ahead of a mooted transfer to Real Madrid.
Speculation over Mbappe's future has been rife for a while now, with his contract due to expire in the summer.
There had been no official comment on Mbappe's situation until the Frenchman took to X days after Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Borussia Dortmund.
He shared an emotional goodbye message, confirming that he will be embarking on a new challenge after seven years.

That challenge is widely expected be in the Spanish capital with Real, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that everything has been agreed since February.
He will head to the Santiago Bernabeu on what could well be the most expensive free transfer in history.
Mbappe is believed to be on a whopping £171 million-a-year salary at PSG and though some details still need to be ironed out, Sky Sports say he will take a pay cut at Real.

However, he is still likely to be their highest-paid player by some distance and will receive a mammoth signing on fee.
"The money that Real Madrid would have been paying as a transfer fee, they are basically going to be paying to the player instead," Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol said.
"He will be getting a massive signing-on fee - there are reports in Spain that it could be over £100m."
Mbappe will make his final appearance at the Parc des Princes on Sunday and will say an emotional goodbye to the PSG supporters.

"It's a lot of emotions, many years where I had the chance and the great honour to be a member of the biggest French club, one of the best in the world," he said in his message.
"It allowed me to arrive here, to have my first experience in a club with a lot of pressure, to grow as a player of course, by being alongside some of the best in history, some of the greatest champions.
"It's hard and I never thought it would be this difficult to announce that. But I think I needed this, a new challenge, after seven years."

Since joining from Monaco, Mbappe has won six Ligue One titles and scored a record 255 times in 306 games for the club.
He could still leave with a final trophy as PSG contest the French cup final against Lyon.
