Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to flex his financial muscles this summer as he looks to make a huge statement of intent to the rest of the Premier League with multiple marquee signings.
Manchester United didn't make a single acquisition during the January transfer window, which is rather out of character for the club who often make the most of the loan market in particular.
Ratcliffe has acquired a 25% stake in the club from the Glazer family and has already made some huge moves regarding the renovation of Old Trafford as well as poaching Omar Berrada from local rivals Manchester City.

United are also eyeing a move for Dan Ashworth from Newcastle United to become the club's new sporting director.
Despite all these off-field changes at Old Trafford, things are going to have to start changing on the pitch if Erik ten Hag is to pull United back to the heights they have been used to previously.
According to Footballtransfers Ratcliffe has reignited interest in the signing Harry Kane this summer as the club is set for a huge spending spree.

The report states: "Kane is well-liked by those at Man Utd, and if there is a willingness from the player to make a Premier League return, then the club will pursue him.
"Kane was very open to a Man Utd move last summer, but ultimately the club could not afford Tottenham’s asking price. It's believed that Bayern could cash in on several players in the summer to fund big-money deals, though whether Kane will be among them will depend on the England striker," The report claimed.
The source also suggested that United could return to another long-term target.

"Frenkie de Jong remains a target, but the club will not waste time pursuing the Dutchman unless his side gives positive indications," Talbot claimed.
Despite the Dutch midfielder reiterating his happiness at Barcelona, the Spanish giants remain in a precarious financial position so it is difficult to rule out a potential move to Old Trafford given the previous interest.
