Manchester United are unlikely to sign Sofyan Amrabat, it has been claimed.
Amrabat has reportedly been a long-term target for United boss Erik ten Hag and is free to leave Fiorentina for the right price.
While a move for the Morocco international has not yet materialised, the Mirror claimed United have privately indicated they intend to strike a deal.

Amrabat was omitted from the Fiorentina squad for the Serie A side’s 2-2 draw with Lecce on Sunday amid the possibility he could leave.
He is understood to have had his head turned by interest from other clubs and is reportedly not in the right frame of mind to feature for Fiorentina.
However, as per the Manchester Evening News, while United have monitored Amrabat, they expect him to join another club if he does leave.
As per the publication, United have constantly stressed their interest in Amrabat has been overstated in the Italian media, and has merely been fuelled by the player’s agent Mahmoud El Boustati.
Liverpool were linked with Amrabat earlier this month after they were snubbed by Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, with both players moving to Chelsea but they too, have reportedly clarified they will not move for the player either.

While Amrabat is still very much part of Fiorentina's plans for the season, if a bid of around £17million to £21million arrives then the club are expected to consider a sale, according to Sky Sports,
MEN did stress however that United had not ended their interest in signing a second midfielder ahead of Friday night’s transfer deadline.
United are still looking at options to bolster their midfield after Mason Mount picked up a muscular injury that will see him out until next month.
Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch is said to be an option that has been floated as he continues to warm the bench for the Bundesliga giants.

The Netherlands international, who was nurtured by United manager Ten Hag at Ajax last summer has started just six times since joining Bayern over United last summer.
