Manchester United have a planned time period in mind for announcing the signing of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, according to Fabrizio Romano.
United have agreed a deal with the Serie A side that will see them pay an initial fee of £64 million for the 20-year-old, with a potential £8 million in add-ons.
Hojlund arrived in Manchester on Tuesday, although it was reported by the Manchester Evening News that his arrival was later than the club had expected and planned for.

As a result, the report added that United were forced to cancel planned events involving Hojlund, including meeting supporters and completing his media duties.
That has caused a delay in the official announcement of the forward, who has been a key target of manager Erik ten Hag throughout the transfer window.
United are in need of a centre forward to ease the goalscoring burden on Marcus Rashford next season - and they will hope Hojlund can provide that.

He netted 10 Serie A goals last season, and is a signing based upon potential as United look to work their way back up the Premier League table.
Now, Romano has revealed when the club's fans can expect the deal to be confirmed.

Before then, the Dane must complete a medical and all other relevant procedures, and obtain a visa, before the deal can be officially ratified.
He wrote: "Manchester United are aiming for the weekend to unveil Rasmus Hojlund as new signing.
"VISA and contract work being finalised, club aiming for weekend to seal and announce it."
The 20-year-old could be presented to the Old Trafford crowd when United take on French side Lens in a friendly on Saturday afternoon.

The fixture will represent the first time United have played at their home stadium in pre-season, and comes just nine days before Ten Hag's side kick off their Premier League campaign against Wolves on August 14.
Both player and club, therefore, will hope Hojlund's move is completely finalised well before that date.
