Liverpool are reportedly lining up a big offer for an England youngster who has been described as the next Trent Alexander-Arnold.
During the summer transfer window, Liverpool underwent a midfield overhaul after losing the likes of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Naby Keita.
In turn, Jurgen Klopp brought in Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.

Despite their big summer spending, it has been reported that the Anfield club are already planning ahead of the next summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are preparing a £40 million offer for Leeds United’s talented 17-year-old star, Archie Gray.
Gray has been in impressive form in the Championship so far this season after only making his professional debut at the start of the campaign.

The youngster has also been compared to Liverpool star Alexander-Arnold due to his versatility as he is able to play in both midfield and at right-back.
Two years ago, Gray was named on the Leeds bench at just 16 years old for the Premier League clash against Arsenal.
According to the report, Leeds value Gray at between £40 million and £50 million. With his current deal set to expire in 2025, the club could be tempted to cash in on the youngster if a suitable offer arrives.

Due to his impressive start to the season, former Leeds and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has claimed that Gray could even make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live: “My dark horse for the Euros squad, a real outsider from me, somebody I've watched regularly at Leeds United, Archie Gray. Hasn't played in the England under-21s yet, represented England at every level up to under-19s.
“He's a regular for Daniel Farke in the Leeds side this year, and I expect him to make great strides in the next 12/18 months.”
