Trent Alexander-Arnold was reportedly involved in a horror car crash hours before Liverpool take on Everton in the Premier League.
On Saturday afternoon, Alexander-Arnold is expected to start for Liverpool as they welcome local rivals Everton to Anfield for the first Merseyside derby of the season.
However, the full-back was reportedly involved in a car accident caused by Storm Babet on Friday.
According to The Sun, Alexander-Arnold avoided death by inches after a 40ft electricity pylon was ripped up from the ground in 70mph winds.

The report claimed that the pylon hit the car in front of Alexander-Arnold, who was driving a £90,000 Range Rover.
It is believed that the 25-year-old slammed on the brakes before swerving and hitting a BMW X5.
The Englishman was then seen getting out of his car to speak to the other driver on a wet country lane near Knutsford, Cheshire.
A source told the publication: “The wind was so powerful it suddenly ripped up the pylon. It was really terrifying. It’s a miracle nobody was hurt. Someone could have easily been killed.

“What are the chances of that happening? Alexander-Arnold must feel like he’s cheated death.
“A few seconds later and it could have gone through his windscreen. It’s absolutely treacherous out there.”
Pictures showed that there was damage to Alexander-Arnold’s car whilst the BMW lost a headlight.

The full-back reportedly went to training at Liverpool's AXA Training Centre later in the afternoon ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Toffees.
A police statement later read: “At 10.34am this morning we were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black Range Rover and a BMW.
“An electricity pole had fallen into the road, causing the accident. Nobody was injured and everything was cleared by 1.05pm. We called the energy company and had the electricity turned off.”
SPORTbible has contacted Trent Alexander-Arnold’s representatives for comment.
