One of Europe's elite clubs have 'made a move' for Kobbie Mainoo as the Manchester United star mauls over a new deal.
Mainoo has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last 18 months, having emerged as a key player at Man United after bursting onto the scene last season.
He became a regular starter and earned a call up to the England team, with Gareth Southgate selecting him for Euro 2024.
However, Mainoo's future at Old Trafford has been the subject of intense scrutiny.
He is currently on a contract worth £20,000-a-week that runs until 2027.
But Mainoo wants a hike to around £200,000-a-week.
His situation has alerted Chelsea, who are thought to be monitoring his situation, not to mention one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Another Europe giant has entered the race to sign Mainoo as Real Madrid are 'keeping a close eye' on the Red Devils youngster, having scouted him.
That's according to Fichajes, who claim Real see the 19-year-old as a 'valuable prospect' due to his immense potential.
Per the report, Real are not in 'urgent' need of a midfielder, but the club are always on the lookout for long-terms solutions as they monitor his contract situation at Man United.
Real scouts are keeping a close watch on Mainoo, waiting for the right moment to assess their options.

"Kobbie has been improving a lot over the last few matches," he said at the start of the year.
"But I think you guys feel like he is the finished product - he is not. He is really good but can be so much better. He has so much potential to grow up even more."
Mainoo played 32 games across all competitions last season and has made 25 appearances in the 2024/25 campaign.
