David Beckham is reportedly interested in signing a Manchester United legend for Inter Miami.
During the summer transfer window, Beckham and Inter Miami secured their biggest signing to date after Argentina legend Lionel Messi agreed to join the club upon the expiration of his contract with French giants Paris Saint Germain.
Since Messi signed, his former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have also signed for Inter Miami.

Over the last few weeks, rumours have swirled around linking De Gea with a surprise return to United but nothing is yet to materialise.
The report stated that apart from an offer from Inter Miami, De Gea also has interests from Real Betis, Valencia and the Saudi Professional League.
Over the weekend, it was reported that De Gea’s wife, Edurne Almagro has blocked him from a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo at Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
According to The Sun, De Gea rejected a lucrative offer from Al Nassr as Almagro reportedly stated that she is not interested in moving to the country.

Now, Beckham is said to be ‘quietly optimistic’ about luring De Gea to Inter Miami.
Speaking on a recent episode of Gary Neville’s Stick to Football podcast, Beckham spoke about how he managed to sign Messi.
He said: “When I started this journey, ten years ago, announcing that I was starting a team in Miami, my vision was always to bring the best players.

“I suppose as an owner of a team, you always want to bring in the best players, but the chance of bringing in the best, is difficult and always challenging. But then, I sneaked into Messi's dad's hotel about four years ago in Barcelona for a meeting with him and obviously, at that point, we weren't ready to bring him in and he wasn't ready to come.”
Beckham continued: “I turned around to his dad and said, 'we want your son, we want him to come to Miami when he's ready, and if that's a possibility'. We continued the conversations, and with my partners, Jorge Mas and Jose [Mas], we just worked on it for about four years.
“When he was at PSG [Paris Saint-Germain], we saw an opportunity and he was either going to go back to Barcelona [or to Miami], but then suddenly, everything aligned, and we were still having the conversations.”
