Saudi Professional League side Al Nassr are reportedly targeting a former Premier League player.
Last summer, clubs in the Saudi Professional League spent huge money as they lured some of Europe’s biggest names to the Middle East.
Since Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia in January 2023, the likes of Karim Benzema, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino, N’Golo Kante and Neymar all followed suit in the summer.
Looking ahead to the upcoming transfer window, it has been claimed that Al Nassr are looking to sign former Arsenal star Wojciech Szczesny from Juventus.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: “EXCL: Al Nassr have started talks to sign Wojciech Szczesny from Juventus as new goalkeeper.
“Juve are prepared to sell Szczesny as Di Gregorio will join on €18m deal and new deal talks with Perin will start soon. Decision will be up to the Polish goalkeeper.”
Recently, Szczesny commented with an angry emoji on Juventus goalkeeping coach Claudio Filippi’s Instagram post after he revealed he was no longer working with the first team.
The Italian wrote: “Here ends my journey in the First Team in Juventus, which lasted a good 14 years!

I made it to 2010 thanks to Gigi Del Neri to whom I will be eternally grateful.
“With my work I contributed to over 700 official games and to winning 20 trophies (9 Scudetti, 6 Italian Cups, 5 Italian Supercups).”
Filippi added: “Juventus has given me the opportunity to be in contact with great football players on a daily basis, but above all with Athletes/Goalkeepers.”

During his time in the Premier League, Szczesny played 181 matches for Arsenal, winning the FA Cup on two occasions and also lifting the FA Community Shield once.
