How much Cristiano Ronaldo has earned in Saudi Pro League since leaving Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo penned a lucrative deal Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has earned a mindblowing amount of money since leaving Manchester United and moving to Saudi Arabia.

After a huge fall-out with manager Erik ten Hag, and a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo's contract with United for his second spell was terminated by mutual consent.

He went into the 2022 World Cup as a free agent but was not without a club long, signing for Al Nassr.

The deal was confirmed on 30 December 2022 before he officially joined on 1 January 2023, with widespread reports claiming that he had become the highest-paid player in the world by some distance.

Ronaldo is believed to earn £177-million-a-year with Al Nassr, broken down further to around £3,403,846 per week.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been at Al Nassr for 73 weeks and according to the figures, has raked in a whopping £248 million since moving to the Middle East.

The reported money involved in Ronaldo's contract is extraordinary but the Portuguese superstar's transfer has raised the profile of football in Saudi Arabia and prompted many other household names to join him in the SPL.

And he has justified the hefty wages by doing the business on the pitch, showing no signs of slowing down.

Ronaldo has scored 64 goals in 69 games for the club, including 35 in 31 Saudi Pro League games this season.

The 39-year-old bagged a brace in the final game of the campaign against Al Ittihad to reach a record-breaking tally.

He set a new record for the most amount of goals in a single Saudi Pro League season, eclipsing Abderrazak Hamdallah's 34-goal campaign, also for Al Nassr, in 2018/19.

Now the top scorer in the four leading leagues, Ronaldo reacted to his latest record by saying: "I don’t follow the records, the records follow me".
