Thomas Tuchel's unbelievably wholesome reaction to seeing his banner for the first time has gone viral after his sacking.
The German manager was relieved of his duties just seven games into the new campaign after suffering three defeats.
Chelsea were the Premier League's biggest spenders in the summer transfer market, splashing out £271 million on a slew of new signings.
But they slipped to losses at the hands of Leeds and Southampton, before they were beaten 1-0 by Dinamo Zagreb in their opening Champions League group game.

An official statement confirmed his dismissal, with the club writing: "On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club.
"Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here."
Tuchel was appointed Chelsea boss in January 2021 and guided the club to a second Champions League triumph when they beat Manchester City in the final in Porto.

They then went on to win the Super Cup and Club World Cup, while also reaching three domestic cup finals under Tuchel.
As a thank you for the job he did, fans unveiled a banner of him with the words, ‘DEUTSCHER MAESTRO’ for Tuchel ahead of the penultimate game of last season against Leicester City.
When he saw it, a big grin came over Tuchel's face and he then shared a heartwarming embrace with one of his members of staff.
Reflecting on having his own banner at the Shed End, Tuchel told Chelsea TV: “I saw the banner. I was looking at Mason’s banner, I didn’t see that I had a banner.

"It’s fantastic, thank you very much for that. It’s unbelievable, the first time and I'm very happy about it.”
That special moment was only in May and a matter of months later, with a change in ownership, Tuchel has now been sacked.

He is in line to receive a tidy compensation sum and the club will now look to replace him.
Chelsea have reportedly entered talks with Brighton boss Graham Potter after being given permission to do by his club.
