Erik ten Hag is reportedly 'calling Frenkie De Jong everyday' to discuss a stunning transfer to Manchester United.
Ten Hag has identified De Jong as a key summer transfer target ahead of taking charge of Man United.
Of course, they worked together at Ajax before the star midfielder secured a switch to Barcelona.

However, De Jong does NOT want to leave Spain and wants to play in the Champions League.
Ten Hag, though, is doing his best to convince the 25-year-old to change his mind, calling him everyday to persuade him to join the Premier League club.
That's according to reports by Gerard Romero and Fabrizio Romano, who claim the Red Devils will try again.
De Jong has been at Barca since 2019 and has become a vital member of Xavi's side.

Despite his importance to the team, Barca director Mateu Alemany has not ruled out a transfer amid the club's financial situation.
"We have not made any decision regarding the squad," he told Movistar.
"Frenkie is a quality player, he's very important and we will go from situation to situation.
"We are conditioned by financial fair play, conditioned by the situation inherited by the club. We must be patient.

"We are clear that we are going to strengthen the team. It is necessary and we want to opt for the titles next year."
Xavi, meanwhile, has said that Dutchman is 'fundamental' to his plans at the Nou Camp but has admitted he may need to sell such players because of their difficult financial situation.
"I have said many times that Frenkie de Jong is very important. He has almost always been a starter under me and for me he is fundamental," said the Barca boss.

"Then there is also the financial situation of the club and it will have to be decided. I'm not talking about Frenkie, but in general.
"In a few days we have to know what economic situation we are in to start planning.
"See who we can count on and see on who we cannot count, the economic level marks it for us."
