Shakira's new year message to her fans appeared to include huge dig at ex Gerard Pique, and even Lionel Messi's wife got involved.
It's only eight months ago that Pique was telling Gary Neville that he and Shakira had never got married because life was perfect the way it was.
But just two months later the World Cup winner and the 'Hips Don't Lie' artist had split after 11 years together, confirming the news in a joint statement.

Things got pretty bad for Pique, with reports that his former partner wanted to build walls to break up the shared parts of their house with his family.
On the pitch, things weren't much better for the centre-back, who wasn't too happy with former teammate turned manager Xavi, who didn't play him much.
The 35-year-old eventually decided to hang up his boots and call time on his playing career, getting one more match in before officially retiring, ending it in tears

Now he's been dealt further heartache, with Shakira going extremely public with her feeling towards her ex, and talking about 'betrayal.'
"Even if our wounds are still open in this new year, time has a surgeon’s hands," the Colombian wrote in new year's post to her fans on Instagram.
"Even if someone’s betrayed us, we must continue to trust others.
"When faced with contempt, continue to know your worth, because there are more good people than indecent ones. More people with empathy than indifference.

"The ones who leave are fewer than the many who stay by our side."
In the past, Pique had been very close with former Barcelona teammate Messi, with the pair sharing a lot of success together down the years.
However, last year, Messi returned to Spain for a reunion dinner with some of his old colleagues, having moved on to PSG the summer before.

Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, along with their families, were invited to the dinner last year but there was no sign of Pique or Shakira.
That hostility seems to have carried over to the World Cup winner's wife, who replied to Shakira's post with a couple of heart emojis.
That was reportedly due to a falling out between the pair, which apparently came down to contract negotiations when the forward left the Nou Camp.

At the time it's said Pique didn't agree to lower wages, unlike Busquets and Alba, which resulted in Messi not being able to renew his deal.
The defender would later cut his wages down to allow the club to register their replacement signings in the wake of the seven time Ballon d'Or winner leaving.
His owed wages would eventually also be one of the reasons that the club were hoping he walk away from his contract, which he did by retiring.
