Past comments made by Sadio Mane about a previous row have resurfaced after the former Liverpool star was suspended by Bayern Munich.
The Senegal international played in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, making a 21-minute substitute appearance for Thomas Tuchel's side with the score at 1-0.
But he was involved in an off-field altercation with team-mate and ex-City forward Leroy Sane - which got worse after the game ended.

Sky Germany claimed that Mane punched Sane in the lip, and both players needed to be separated in the dressing room.
Sane was pictured on Thursday morning appearing to hide his mouth as he embarked on the Bayern team coach, and it was reported that Mane would apologise to his team-mates.
Later on Thursday, it was reported by Bild that the 31-year-old had been suspended by his club for this weekend's fixture against Hoffenheim.

A club statement read (via The Athletic): "Sadio Mane, 31, will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday.
"The reason is misconduct by Mane after FC Bayern's Champions League game at Manchester City. In addition, Mane will receive a fine."
Mane quotes resurface after Sane incident
It is not the first time that Mane has been involved in an incident with another team-mate.

In August 2019, the Senegal international had a row with Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian did not pass to him during a 3-0 win over Burnley.
Mane was still visibly frustrated with Salah after being taken off, but the situation was resolved amicably.
The following November, he explained (quotes via Daily Mirror): "I was frustrated a bit too much. I said it to him on the pitch, and protested when I was taken off because I was so frustrated.
"It's the first time we had a little tiff like that. Even him, he was surprised after the match. He said to me, 'Sadio! Why are you being like this?' I said, 'Because I'm so frustrated!'

"After we made sure to talk to clear the air. But it remains a great pleasure to play besides him because I have the feeling we speak the same type of football."
Salah, meanwhile, said: "It's not intentional, whether from me or him, perhaps there was some tension in a previous match and now everyone tries to associate everything with it.
"This [the Burnley game] was the first time people talked about this matter and linked every ball that I didn't pass to him or he didn't pass to me to this situation.
"But Sadio assisted my goal two games ago and I assist him as well."
