Leroy Sane spoke to Bayern Munich bosses before they decided to suspend Sadio Mane, after the pair's dramatic bust up in midweek.

However, off the pitch, it was all about the coming to blows between the two superstar forwards, with Mane reportedly attacking his teammate.

The incident led to talk that the former Liverpool forward could be sold by the German giants, less than a year after he joined them from the Reds.
For now, at least, he won't be playing for Thomas Tuchel's side, with the Senegal star having been given a temporary suspension by the club.

However, the punishment could have been even worse for the 31-year-old, if it wasn't for the intervention from the man who he 'attacked.'
According to German outlet, SPORT1, Sane approached the Bayern hierarchy and asked them not to give his teammate too harsh a punishment.
Instead Sane wants the whole thing not to be dragged on and allow the players to get back to focusing on their push for another Bundesliga title, and a potential comeback against City.

Reports claim that CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic want to see a positive reaction from Sane between now and the end of the season.
That will determine the former Southampton player's future at the Allianz Arena, and he might need to help them win the league to have any chance of staying.
