Sadio Mane made sure to console his Liverpool teammate Mo Salah after Senegal beat Egypt to win the Africa Cup Of Nations for the first time.
Mane missed an early penalty after Salah told Egypt goalkeeper Gabaski where he was going to put it, but proved to be the hero for his country when they game went on the way to penalties.
After Edouard Mendy made a crucial save, Mane made no mistake this time around and coolly dispatched his spot-kick to make history for his country.

But while he celebrated wildly, he of course had time to speak to comfort Salah, who was in tears after losing the final in Cameroon.
Salah and Mane will return to Liverpool after each missed around a month of club football, but they will come up against one another again next month.

Senegal and Egypt lock horns in a two-legged play-off, where the winner will qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
But before that, it looks as though neither player will be having an extended period of rest as they are likely to be in contention for Liverpool's visit of Leicester on Thursday.
"These two boys are real warriors,” Klopp told the media in a press conference.
“They are constantly ready. They are both not worried about holidays or days off. I never heard them ask about it, so especially with these two, it is really simple.

"I know they want to play immediately but together with them we have to find out how much sense it makes. You can imagine both want to play against Leicester, both want to be involved, score goals and win football games for Liverpool.”
