Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has reportedly decided to leave the club after 6 years, and Bayern Munich are top contenders to sign him. Mane joined The Reds in 2016 after a successful three years at Southampton
Well respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that Mane is ‘ready for a new experience after many special years with the reds.’ The Liverpool player is being rumoured to be being sold for around £30 million, a lower figure than he is worth due to him having only one year remaining on his contract.

It has also been reported that Bayern bosses knew all along that he was keen to leave, and 'that's why they were focused on him as the main transfer target this summer.’
In 269 appearances for Liverpool Mane mustered up an impressive 120 goals, and losing him will be a serious blow to the squad, especially given their defeat in the Champions League Final. As an individual player Mane has had a brilliant season leading Senegal to the African cup of nations whilst also helping them qualify for only their third World cup in the country’s history.
Liverpool will be trying to improve on their failures to win both the Premier League and Champions league this season and will need a serious replacement to match the calibre of a player such as Mane.
Looking at his potential future club, six time European Champions Bayern Munich would certainly welcome this signing, especially given the rumours that German winger Serge Gnabry is being allowed to leave.
