The 30-year-old has asked the Spain international if he can move into his house in the city, according to the Daily Mail.
He's thinking about staying in the former Bayern star's house in Bavaria and has spoken to him about a possible arrangement.
Thiago enjoyed seven trophy-laden seasons at Bayern, winning seven Bundesliga titles and the Champions League in 2020.
He then joined the Anfield club and his house in Germany has been empty since he made the move to England.

Mane, meanwhile, is thought to be keen on a transfer away from Liverpool following six glorious seasons.
Bayern are very much interested in snapping him up, having tabled an opening bid of £21 million.
But their offer was turned down by Liverpool, who value him at around £42.5 million.

Mane, who has one year left to run on his contract, dropped a transfer hint whilst on international duty.
"Like everyone else, I'm on social media and I see the comments," he said.
"Isn't it between 60 to 70 per cent of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want. We will see soon. Don't be in a hurry because we will see this together."
But Mane backtracked on his comments after starring for Senegal against Benin.

"I spoke yesterday while joking with a bit of humour and it was everywhere. I think we’ll stop there," he told reporters.
"Liverpool is a club I respect a lot. The fans adopted me since day one. Regarding the future, we’ll see."
