Bayern Munich are plotting a stunning double transfer swoop ahead of the new season.
Bayern, who failed to win a single piece of silverware last season, have already strengthened their squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, which will be led by new head coach Vincent Kompany.
Michael Olise and Joao Palhinha have both come through the doors at the Allianz Arena this summer.

Bayern recruited Olise from Crystal Palace for £50.8 million and snapped up Palhinha from Fulham for £47.16 million.
Hiroki Ito has also arrived at Bayern, who poached the Japanese defender from Stuttgart.
And Kompany's team are looking at more reinforcements, with Florian Plettenberg claiming the Bundesliga giants are trying to sign both Desire Doue and Xavi Simons.

Doue, 19, starred at Rennes last season and is also attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who hope to keep the French midfielder in Ligue 1.
On Doue, Fabrizio Romano claims the youngster will decide which club he joins, with a decision expected in the coming days.
PSG sent their first proposal on Wednesday and will push for his signing in further talks.
As for Bayern, their first bid was rejected by Rennes, but they are planning to return with another offer.

Simons, meanwhile, is on the books at PSG but a move away from Paris appears to be on the cards amid intense transfer speculation.
The 21-year-old, who scored for the Netherlands against England in their Euro 2024 semi-final clash, has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
But Man United face stiff competition from Bayern, who are also pursuing the star winger.

The German outfit not only see him as a winger but also as a No.10 - and would employ him behind Jamal Musiala and in front of Palhinha, according to Plettenberg.
The report states that if the transfers don't come to fruition, then Bayern could consider Dani Olmo, who starred at Euro 2024.
