Ray Hudson produced another iconic commentary moment in the aftermath of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's late winner against Marseille, describing the French side as being "stretched out like spandex on Miami Beach".
After being outplayed in the first-half by their Ligue 1 opposition, Spurs fought back from 1-0 down in the second-half to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages.
Clement Lenglet equalised for Antonio Conte's side in the 54th minute before unlikely goalscorer Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg sealed top spot in Group D with a dramatic finish.

It was a moment that produced this wonderful piece of commentary from Hudson, known for his incredible word play.
He begins: "Astonishing scenes here from the Danish international, who sweeps in like Tarzan on the vine to catapult this one home. Olympique Marseille stretched out like spandex on Miami Beach!"
It's a line that brings a trademark chuckle from Micah Richards, who went on to analyse the commentary with fellow pundits Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry.

Fans on social media were loving the scenes. One said: "Wait for Henry’s face, it’s a classic," while another commented: "Ray Hudson is a god amongst men."
A third simply wrote: "The Man, The Myth, The Legend."
Hudson, of course, has seen it all down the years but back in 2019, the former Newcastle midfielder was moved to tears after a remarkable solo performance from Lionel Messi against Real Betis.

Barcelona demolished their opponents 4-1 and Messi netted a hat-trick – with his third goal being arguably one of his best ever.
After receiving the ball at the edge of the box, Messi audaciously chipped goalkeeper Pau Lopez and the skill even received applause from Betis fans.
"I think there are tears in your eyes Raymond," a beIN Sports colleague remarked as Hudson eulogised over the brilliance.
Towards the end of the game while discussing the chip, he says: "Messi does it in such a virtuous way, we've seen him pull out absolute howitzers out of that left foot over the years.

"The staggering power of the little man and then, he's an amazing dribbler and emasculates players one by one. This situation sees him solve an algebraic situation in the blink of a bee's eye.
"We look at the statistics that will follow this, how many goals he's scored and games he's played in. You can always imitate those statistics, you can't imitate that."
