The Premier League have issued a statement after Michail Antonio was involved in a serious road traffic accident.
An image of a smashed Ferrari began to circulate on social media as concerns were raised over Antonio's wellbeing.
West Ham United subsequently confirmed their player had been involved in a road traffic accident.

A statement read: "West Ham United can confirm striker Michail Antonio has today been involved in a road traffic accident. The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the Club are with Michail, his family and friends at this time.
"The Club will issue an update in due course."
West Ham issued a second statement, confirming Antonio is in a stable condition.

The league have released a statement in wake of the incident.
On X, they wrote: "The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the Premier League are also with Antonio, his family, friends and all at West Ham."
Several clubs including Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and his former team Nottingham Forest have replied to West Ham's statement on social media, sending their best wishes to the star forward.

Liverpool's statement read: "The thoughts and prayers of everyone at LFC are with Michail and his family."
Chelsea added: "The thoughts of everyone at Chelsea FC are with Michail and his family."
In a statement, Arsenal said: "Everyone at Arsenal sends their love, support and well wishes to Michail, his family and West Ham United."
Manchester United's statement read: "Sending love and strength to Michail, his family, his friends and everyone at West Ham."

Forest wrote: "The thoughts of everyone at Nottingham Forest are with Michail, his family and friends."
Antonio, 34, joined West Ham from Forest in the summer of 2015.
He has scored 83 goals in 322 appearances across all competitions for the Hammers, notably helping his side to Europa Conference League glory in 2023.
West Ham resume their league campaign on Monday when they host Wolves.
