Abbey Clancy, the wife of former England and Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has revealed she once smacked the bum of a well-known football manager.
Clancy revealed the story alongside her husband Crouch during an episode of The Therapy Crouch podcast.
During the show, Clancy stated that she didn’t know the person she slapped was actually famous.

She also went on to say that every time she bumps into the person, he would bend over and offer her another slap.
Speaking on the podcast, Clancy said: “So I actually slapped a football manager's bottom, by mistake, it was dare that someone made me do, without telling me it was a football manager.
“And now every time I see him he's like [bends over] 'go on, you know you want to’.”

Crouch then said: “Make your own minds up [as to] who that is.”
Then Clancy replied: “You don't want to expose him, the bumee [*laughs*] … I'm the bum smacker and he's the bum smackee.”
Whilst they did not reveal who the football manager was, they did offer fans some little hints. The fact that Clancy didn’t know he was famous probably means that the manager in question has not managed Crouch.
During his career, Crouch played for some of the biggest clubs in English football including Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Portsmouth.

Crouch met Clancy when he was playing for Liverpool, with the pair getting married in 2011. The pair have four kids together, two daughters and two sons.
Recently, they revealed that they renewed their wedding vows.

Clancy said to Hello! Magazine: “We started as a young couple together, and now here we are with our four kids walking us down the aisle. I feel like the luckiest person on earth.
“We were going to renew our vows on our ten-year anniversary, but with lockdown, we couldn’t do it… Pete’s quite romantic at heart; he has definitely earned himself brownie points for the next few years.”
