A Sky Sports journalist has provided an update on Manchester United's pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar.
In the past 24 hours, it has been widely reported that United are in talks to sign Brazilian sensation Neymar.
The 31-year-old, who is behind Kylian Mbappe in PSG’s hierarchy of stars, is allegedly seriously considering leaving the French giants, six years after making his world record £189million transfer to the club.

And PSG would reportedly not stand in the Brazilian’s way should he push for a summer exit.
Neymar's time in the French capital looks to have reached its natural conclusion. Indeed, last week PSG condemned the actions of supporters who are understood to have gathered outside the home of Neymar and chanted for him to leave the club.
Fans were filmed chanting for the board to resign outside club headquarters before clips showed a collection of supporters visiting the home of Neymar calling for him to depart.
L'Equipe has since claimed that several Premier League clubs are in talks with Neymar representatives, but United have made the most progress.
Neymar to Man Utd update
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol confirmed that United are among several clubs that had been contacted by Neymar’s representatives.

However, the winger is reportedly not a United target at present.
On the situation, Solhekol tweeted: “Manchester United have been approached by intermediaries about signing Neymar from PSG.
"They are one of a number of clubs who have been contacted about his potential availability. While a deal might make sense from a commercial point of view, he is not currently a United target."
United have prioritised a striker for the summer window, with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane believed to be top of Erik ten Hag’s wishlist.

Indeed, United scouts allegedly attended Napoli’s Champions League clash against Milan last month to watch Osimhen, while they have admired the Nigerian from afar during Napoli’s surge to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
Meanwhile, Kane is entering the final 12 months of his Tottenham contract in July, and is allegedly unlikely to extend his time at the north London side.
Nevertheless, a deal will be difficult to strike, given Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is determined not to sell the club's most prized asset.
