It took Mohamed Salah just FIVE minutes to break a 'curse' against Aston Villa as Liverpool emerged victorious in their Premier League return.
Liverpool returned to action following the World Cup with a 3-2 EFL Cup defeat to Manchester City, with Salah getting on the score-sheet.
And he continued his goal-scoring ways since the winter tournament in Qatar with a strike against Villa in their 3-1 win at Villa Park.

Salah opened the scoring in the fifth minute after Andy Robertson brilliantly picked him out.
With his trusted left foot, the 30-year-old tapped home from close range to make it 1-0.
In doing so, Salah broke the 'Christmas curse', with fans celebrating his victory online.

But he took just five minutes to find the back of the net in Liverpool's first match since Christmas, thus breaking the curse.

A fourth commented: "A goal and an assist in the first half for Mo Salah? The Christmas curse is over."
Another said: "Salah 2 G/A. Christmas curse is broken."
The Liverpool forward then turned provider as he created Liverpool's second goal. He set up Virgil van Dijk, who stroked home before the break.
