Esteeemed journalist Fabrizio Romano has dropped a key update on talks over a new contract for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
The forward's current deal expires in the summer of 2024, and he is yet to commit to extending those terms.
It was reported by the Daily Star last month that Rashford was holding out for a deal worth £500,000-a-week to stay at Old Trafford - which forced the player himself to take to social media in order to forcefully deny those rumours.

He tweeted: "Just before this one starts to do the rounds! It's complete nonsense.
"The club and myself have been respectful to one another, and that's how it will remain. My focus is purely on finishing as well as possible in the league and winning trophies."
Now, it is claimed that Rashford is positive about his future at United under Erik ten Hag.
Romano gives Rashford update
Taking to Twitter, Romano has reported that Rashford is 'really happy' at United, with talks ongoing over renewing his current contract.

He wrote: "Marcus Rashford was not happy with recent reports of "crazy" salary requests. He's understood to be really happy with how things are developing at Man Utd and feels success is around the corner.
"New deal talks will continue soon - Rashford loves working under Ten Hag."
The England international has had a superb season under Ten Hag, netting 15 Premier League goals in 29 appearances.
He has helped United break into the top four places with eight games remaining, and qualifying for the Champions League for next season would surely help the club in their pursuit of successfully completing contract talks with the forward.

But club and player are currently sweating over an injury concern involving Rashford, after he limped off the pitch during Saturday's 2-0 win over Everton with an apparent groin problem.
Ten Hag confirmed after the match that the injury 'didn't look well' - and United will be desperately hoping that the 24-year-old does not miss any game time.
