Manchester United are keen on signing Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries, according to reports.
The Netherlands international moved to the Serie A giants from PSV Eindhoven for a fee in the region of £11million, following an impressive display at Euro 2020.
Erik ten Hag is a huge admirer of the Netherlands international, having ‘directly asked’ for the signing of Dumfries, according to Italian news outlet Corriere Dello Sport.

The report includes that United made contact with the player’s agent, Rafael Pimenta lost month, in the hope he’ll join Old Trafford this January.
The 26-year-old shone in Qatar, assisting twice against the USA, before capping off his performance with a goal.
Ten Hag is thought to be in the market for a right-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's future currently up in the air, despite starting against Manchester City in place of the injured Diogo Dalot.
Rumours have emerged linking Wan-Bissaka to Premier League outfit Wolves, according to Sky Sports.

Inter Milan slash price for Dumfries
The Serie A giants have reportedly dropped their asking price for Dumfries by £18million.
It was thought that Inter were originally holding out for an offer in the region of £53million. But Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb report that this has been slashed to just £35million.

United are now said to be in 'deep discussions' about signing the Dutchman. However, they could face Premier League competition. Chelsea are also thought to be interest as they seek cover Reece James' injury, report The Sun.
Dumfries was an unused substitute against Hellas on Saturday, with Inter supposedly willing to sell the defender should an appropriate offer present itself.
