Manchester United are plotting a stunning move for Bundesliga legend Marco Reus, according to a fresh report.
Erik ten Hag’s side have been in exceptional form in recent months. Since a humiliating 6-3 defeat at City on October 2, they have now only lost once in 20 matches in all competitions.
In turn, United, who have not won the Premier League since 2013, have clawed their way up the table and now sit in third place.

However, the Old Trafford club are still some eight points from table toppers Arsenal, while Manchester City are also in the title mix.
As the United rebuild continues, Ten Hag is reportedly interested in adding to his attacking ranks in both the winter and summer windows.
Indeed, one name that has been touted is Reus, one of the most talented wingers of the last decade.
Man Utd to move for Reus?
According to Christian Falk, via Caught Offside, United are considering signing Reus in the summer.

The Borussia Dortmund star is poised to become a free agent at the end of the season and has been linked to the Old Trafford club, as well as teams in the Middle East.
Falk claimed United are “an option” when it comes to Reus’ next destination. Indeed, his agent was reportedly in the stands as United beat rivals Manchester City 2-1 last Saturday.
According to the journalist, Ten Hag subsequently held a meeting with Reus’ representative, in which the United boss expressed an interest in signing the 33-year-old.
However, for now, there is nothing concrete and United are yet to have tabled a proposal to Reus.

When emerging at Borussia Monchengladbach, Reus was tipped for the very top of the game, however, his career has since been hampered by injuries.
This term in particular he has been restricted to just nine Bundesliga appearances for a stuttering Dortmund side. In that time he has registered just two goals and a further two assists.
