Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda, previously wanted by Arsenal.
The Spain Under-19 international has made 14 appearances across all competitions since making his senior debut in January 2022, earning the attention of Europe's elite.
As quoted by Spanish news outlet AS, the teenager's agent confirmed he was the subject of interest from “30 clubs” in January but elected to keep his “feet on the ground” by staying with relegation-threatened Valladolid.

In doing so, Fresneda, who's contract expires in 2025, is said to have snubbed Premier League leaders Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
And now the Red Devils are thought to be after his signature.

Football Insider claim that United have taken a 'really active interest' in signing Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda ahead of the summer transfer window.

The report also states that that Old Trafford scouts have been keeping tabs on the Spaniard over the past few weeks and that the club are 'laying the groundwork for a potential swoop'.
Wan-Bissaka set to leave Man Utd
Erik ten Hag was thought to be in the market for a right-back last summer to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka but was unable to land a defender.
Despite starting the majority of United's games since the World Cup came to an end, Diogo Dalot's return to fitness has already seen Wan-Bissaka lose his place, with a summer exit rumoured to be on the cards.

According to Football Insider, United are willing to sell the Englishman and value him at £22m.
He was subject to interest from West Ham, Wolves and his former club Crystal Palace over January but Ten Hag opted to keep him at Old Trafford until the end of the campaign.
