A Bundesliga expert has opened up about Bayern Munich and Manchester United’s interest in Harry Kane.
United have been tipped to sign a new striker ever since the acrimonious departure of Cristiano Ronaldo back in November, on the eve of the World Cup.
While Wout Weghorst was brought in on loan in January to lead the line for the rest of the season, United have been linked to some of the most high-profile forwards in the world for the summer window.

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who has scored 19 goals in his 22 Serie A games this term, is a reported target while Tottenham’s Kane is another that has been linked.
Both players would cost around £100million, however, according to a Telegraph report.
Are Bayern interested in Kane?
Bayern are another club that have been linked to Kane, with the forward entering the last 12 months of his Tottenham contract this summer.
However, Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claimed that there has not yet been contact between Kane and the Bundesliga giants.

The journalist tweeted: “Been told that [Manchester United] is not seriously considering a transfer of Kane at this stage.
“The total financial package should be too expensive for the 29-year-old. Osimhen is more attractive for ManUtd.
“And [there is] no hot contact between Bayern & Kane at the moment.”
Even if United or Bayern step up their interest as the summer window approaches, Tottenham are determined to hold on to the England captain.

David Ornstein wrote in the Athletic on Monday that the north Londoners are not even contemplating a sale, and instead focusing their efforts on renewing Kane’s deal.
While the club have reportedly entered initial dialogue with the striker, who has netted 203 Premier League career goals, at present the matter is not said to be advanced.
