Manchester United star Antony was reportedly involved in a terrifying road traffic incident on a motorway close to his home.
Following the Red Devils' 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on New Years Eve, the Brazilian had an accident on the roadworks of the M56 close to his house in Hale, claim the Manchester Evening News.
The winger, who signed for the club last August, did not sustain any injuries in the accident but was left badly shaken, The Mirror reported, while no other individuals were involved.

Antony was absent for his side's next game against Bournemouth as he recovered from the accident. The Red Devils managed to get the job done without him, winning 3-0 and making it four Premier League wins on the bounce.
The former Ajax player returned to action against Everton in the FA Cup, scoring inside five minutes.
