Manchester United fans are stunned after seeing Antony’s latest tattoo.
Few players sum up Erik ten Hag’s struggles at United like Antony. The Brazilian has failed to make an impact since joining the Old Trafford club for a fee of over £80million in the summer of 2022.
Antony has scored just three goals and claimed a paltry two assists in all competitions this term, a regression from his 11 goal contributions last season.

Indeed, in his 28 Premier League appearances this campaign he has managed just one goal and one assist.
Often a figure of derision for fans, Antony is now being mocked by several people on X, formally Twitter, for his latest tattoo.
The 24-year-old has had a tattoo on his back done by artist Bruno Lopes, which depicts the Brazil international celebrating a goal he scored for Ajax against Feyenoord.

Antony has been widely mocked on social media for getting a tattoo of his own face.
One person said: “Getting tattoos of yourself is super weird.”
A second person added: “Bro knows he is no longer getting any good goals.”
A third said: “More Tattoos than goals.”

In a similar vein, another added: “More Tattoos than good performance on the pitch,” while a fifth said: “Who tattoos his face on his own body??”
Antony has several tattoos, including another that says ‘favela’ in reference to his working-class upbringing in Brazil.
He also has body art which shows off his gold medal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Antony will hope to make a positive contribution to United’s game against Arsenal on Sunday, with Erik ten Hag’s men looking to bounce back from Monday’s dismal 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
United will then take on Europe chasing Newcastle United next Wednesday night.
