Andreas Pereira has revealed he didn't speak to Erik ten Hag before leaving Manchester United last summer, admitting he had 'bad memories' at the club.
Pereira joined newly promoted Fulham last summer, ending his 10-year stay at Old Trafford after struggling to break into the first team.
The Brazilian spent the majority of his time on loan at Granada, Valencia, Lazio and Flamengo before eventually calling time on his United career.

He has since enjoyed a successful campaign with Fulham, helping them to ninth place in the Premier League, as they eye a top-half finish on their return to the top flight.
But in a recent interview, Pereira lifted the lid on his relationship with Ten Hag, having previously worked under him at PSV Eindhoven.

Pereira had made a decision to leave the club before Ten Hag arrived at the club, choosing to distance himself from the Dutchman to avoid changing his mind.

"I didn't speak with Ten Hag," Pereira told ESPN. "I know him because I worked with him at PSV but I was determined in my head and maybe if I spoke with the manager again I would stay. In my head I was thinking 'I need to go, I need to feel confident and play' and that's what I did.
The midfielder also opened up on his long career at the club, stating he had good and bad memories from his time.
"At United I had a lot of memories; good memories, bad memories," Pereira continued. "It's been 10 years at the club. I arrived when I was 16 so, you know, a young boy. It was an amazing ride but I got to the stage where I thought maybe it was best not to stay.
"I wanted to feel more loved and I wanted to play every game. What Fulham offered me and what [manager] Marco [Silva] offered me, it was the perfect opportunity."
