Manchester United are interested in signing former Manchester City starlet Felix Nmecha this summer, according to a new report - and have already contacted the player's agent.
Nmecha currently plays for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, having left City in 2021 after making two senior appearances under Pep Guardiola.
The 22-year-old came through City's academy and featured in a Champions League fixture against Olympiacos in November 2020, assisting Joao Cancelo's goal after coming on as a substitute.

An attacking midfielder, Nmecha can also operate in a deeper role and in wide areas if required.
He made 30 appearances in the recent Bundesliga season for Wolfsburg, scoring three goals and providing an impressive six assists.
The versatility of the midfielder, who represented both Germany and England at youth level before making his senior debut for the former, will likely appeal to United manager Erik ten Hag as he looks to add to his squad this summer.

And, according to SPORT1 reporter Patrik Berger, initial talks have already begun.
Man Utd 'plot move for ex-Man City ace'
Berger claims that United are interested in signing the former City starlet, and have held discussions with the player's father. He acts as the agent of both the midfielder and his brother, Lukas, who also plays for Wolfsburg and made three appearances for City.
The deal would certainly be an affordable one for United, as the 22-year-old has just a year left on his current contract. It is reported by the same source that Nmecha would be available for around €15 million this summer as a result.

It is claimed that the Premier League would be 'attractive' for the German international, given his previous links to City and the fact that he grew up in England along with his brother.
United will face competition, however, with Borussia Dortmund said to be keen to sign Nmecha.
It is claimed that the asking price has piqued the interest of the German giants, with the signing of the Wolfsburg man then allowing them to spend a bigger sum on a second striker to compete with Sebastien Haller.
