Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United could sell striker Anthony Martial this summer, as the club look to raise funds through player sales.
United were restricted in their spending in January, bringing in three players on loan during the month. Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland, Burnley striker Wout Weghorst and Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer all arrived at Old Trafford.
The reasons behind this included United's summer of major spending, where they splashed out over £200 million on Casemiro, Antony and Lisandro Martinez, and reported concerns relating to Financial Fair Play (FFP).

It could be, therefore, that United need to sell players in the summer in order to raise funds for the next stage of Erik ten Hag's transfer plan.
The club are still reportedly on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, whilst they may require a new goalkeeper should David de Gea not extend his stay at the club beyond this summer.
And Romano claims that Martial is another player that could be on his way out of Old Trafford.
Romano reveals Martial future in doubt
In his transfer column for CaughtOffside, Romano has claimed that Ten Hag wants to sign another striker in the summer, which could mean the end of Martial's time at the club.

He wrote: "Erik ten Hag appreciates Anthony Martial as a player but as Manchester United will go for a new striker, there's a chance that they will put Anthony on the transfer market in the summer.
"This is possible, but there are currently no negotiations with clubs to sell him."
Martial has struggled with injury since Ten Hag was appointed as United manager before the start of the season. He was expected to start Ten Hag's first game in charge at home against Brighton, but was ruled out due to a hamstring problem.
Upon his full return, he scored three goals in three substitute appearances before again being struck down with injury.

And two separate injury issues have meant he has started just two of United's last eight games in all competitions.
The France international spent the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla, before returning to Old Trafford ahead of pre-season getting underway.
