Two Premier League clubs have rejected the opportunity to sign Man United star Cristiano Ronaldo, despite the Portuguese forward being offered to them, according to reports.
Ronaldo's future has been in doubt for several months, after he told the club in July that he wished to depart following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
But the 37-year-old has found himself out of the United starting XI on a more regular basis this season.

And, during United's 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday, Ronaldo walked down the tunnel prior to the final whistle. Erik ten Hag had not called him on as a substitute.
The Dutchman told reporters after the game: "I don't pay attention to that, I will deal with that tomorrow. I want to keep the focus on the team."
Ronaldo was then sent to train with the U21 team. Furthermore, as per the Daily Mail, showdown talks are reportedly planned between manager and player today, with Ten Hag's aim to re-integrate the forward into the first team.
Despite his current situation, Rio Ferdinand is still full of praise for the forward. After Ronaldo scored his 700th career goal earlier this month against Everton, the United legend told BT Sport: "700 club goals. That is more that I have appearances. Probably almost as many as all of us in the studio [Joe Cole and Joleon Lescott] put together, almost. Phenomenal."

Meanwhile, discussions are still ongoing surrounding Ronaldo's future.
Premier League clubs 'offered' Ronaldo - reject the chance
According to The Sun, Ronaldo's advisors 'sounded out' Premier League trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle about a move for the 37-year-old.
All three teams are in the top five of the division at present - above United. Arsenal lead the way, with Newcastle fourth and Chelsea fifth.
However, it is claimed that they all see the signing as 'too risky', meaning Ronaldo has been linked elsewhere.

And one possible stated destination is Napoli, who currently lead Serie A. They have won each of their last five league games.
In addition, Luciano Spalletti's side sit top of their Champions League group, which also contains Rangers, Ajax and Liverpool.
However, The Sun have also been told, via sources, that Ronaldo's wage demands could be a major stumbling block.
Ronaldo earned an annual salary of €28.6 million last season, although that figure is believed to be lower this term given that United players reportedly accepted a 25 per cent pay cut following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Whether Napoli could convince Ronaldo to slash his wages even further to join them this summer remains to be seen.
