Napoli want to reunite Scott McTominay with one of his former Manchester United teammates but a 'frightening' request could block a transfer.
Napoli are already planning for the summer transfer window and have identified two forwards ahead of the market reopening.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Udinese forward Lorenzo Lucca is on their transfer wish-list, having scored 12 goals across all competitions this season.
Rasmus Hojlund is on Napoli's radar, too, with the player the subject of intense transfer speculation following a tough campaign.

Hojlund, who joined Man United for £72 million, has scored just three league goals this season.
He could be on the chopping block as Rubem Amorim plans a summer overhaul ahead of recruiting new players, with fans already making their feelings clear on the Danish forward.
Per the report, Hojlund would 'gladly' return to Italy following his spell at Atalanta.
But the Red Devils are holding for around £50 million so they don't make a huge loss on the transfer.

And Man United's price tag has been described as 'frightening' and is outside of the Serie A club's budget.
However, the report claims there is still time until the summer and if there are openings, Napoli will try and negotiate a deal.

Hojlund bagged 16 goals last season and showed signs of promise.

But the 22-year-old has struggled in front of goal this term, scoring a measly eight goals in 39 games in all competitions.
He ended his goal draught with a strike in his side's 3-0 win at Leicester City last Sunday.
Hojlund has since linked up with Denmark, where he spoke to local media about his future.
"I’m still very happy to be at Man United. It’s the club I’ve always dreamed of playing for. And I’m really happy for Ruben [Amorim]. He’s a cool character and a cool person," he told Tipsbladet.

"I’m focused on the task with Ruben [Amorim] because that project is incredibly exciting, but Erik [ten Hag] was, of course, one of the reasons why I moved to Man United.
"He was doing something good and was a talented coach, but it didn’t work out, and that’s how it is."
