Manchester United are reportedly targeting Newcastle ace Allan Saint Maximin as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his attacking options.
According to French news outlet Media Foot, United are willing to take a gamble on the winger and the report stated that Ten Hag is a fan of Saint Maximin’s explosiveness.
United have been wanting to add to their attacking options all summer, it is believed that Ajax winger Antony is Ten Hag’s top choice, however, a move for the Brazilian is proving difficult due to the price tag set by the Eredivisie champions. As a result, alternative options are being looked at.

The Athletic reported last month that Newcastle could be tempted to sell Saint Maximin for £40 million.
The French winger has been impressing fans up and down the land since he arrived at St James’ Park back in 2019. His blistering speed and tremendous skills on the ball captured the hearts of the Newcastle faithful.
Saint Maximin has been an integral part of Eddie Howe’s side and he showcased his talent once again on Sunday. The 25-year-old wreaked havoc during the thrilling 3-3 draw, causing major problems for the likes of Kyle Walker and John Stones in the Manchester City back line.
Saint Maximin’s performance drew praise from fans and pundits. Magpies legend Les Ferdinand outlined the qualities that made him a fans’ favourite.

He said on Premier League Productions: “They love a maverick and that's what he is.
“You don't know what you're going to get. He's effervescent when he's on and before the game I thought this would be a game for him because this is the type of contest he would like to shine in.
“If you're going to give him opportunities and give him room he can hurt you and he showed every reason why he's so popular with the supporters.”
Manager Howe was also full of praise for the Frenchman.

United may be targeting a attacker but their current wingers put in a stellar performance on Monday night as the Red Devils finally got off the mark in the Premier League with a 2-1 win over a dismal Liverpool side.
English duo Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford were the scorers as they dismantled Liverpool’s defence.
