Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has had his say on Liverpool's defeat to Wolves on Saturday highlighting the "cringeworthy" part of their performance.
Jurgen Klopp's side reached a new low when they lost 3-0 at Molineux against relegation threatened Wolves and showed no signs of overcoming their poor form this season.
The loss leaves the Reds hanging on inside the top 10 and 11 points adrift of the Champions League places as they face a huge challenge to catch up to their rivals.

Former Arsenal player turned pundit Paul Merson hit out at their performance following the full-time whistle on Saturday.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: “You’re talking about players that were consistently eight and nines last season, they're consistently at six and five now.
“When you dip that much I don’t see how you get results in this league, it’s ruthless.
“Teams are opening them up, at the end it was cringeworthy, Wolves must have kept the ball for 50 passes and not one Liverpool player got near them.”
Liverpool's woes continue
Things aren't getting any better for Liverpool and if nothing changes then they are on course for their worst ever Premier League finish under Jurgen Klopp.

The German manager has insisted that he can turn things around despite rumours he could walk and it appears the fans back him as well.
He's won six major trophies during his tenure at Anfield including two Champions Leagues and a league title so it's fair to say he's earnt the opportunity to rectify their current form.
It's not just on the field where the uncertainty lies though, with the club currently looking for new owners after Fenway Sports Group put the Reds up for sale.
That could explain the lack of investment which could be the reason why they are performing so poorly, but either way, if things don't change soon then they'll be fighting to keep their best players in the summer.
