Liverpool fans have voiced their anger on social media after the club was eliminated from the Europa League.
Liverpool beat Atalanta 1-0 away from home on Thursday night but crashed out of the competition after losing 3-1 on aggregate, following their crushing defeat at Anfield last week.
Jurgen Klopp's side had looked like staging an unlikely comeback when they took the lead in Italy after just seven minutes.

Mohamed Salah put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot following a handball in the area from an Atalanta defender.
But Liverpool were unable to find another goal, with the home side successfully managing to stifle the game in the second half.
Klopp made a series of substitutions after the break in an attempt to change the course of the tie.
But it was his decision to keep a player on the pitch that frustrated Liverpool fans.
While the likes of Salah, Luis Diaz and Trent Alexander-Arnold were brought off, midfielder Curtis Jones was kept on the pitch despite an underwhelming performance.

That decision confused Liverpool supporters, who were quick to voice their opinion on social media after the match.
"Criminal that Curtis Jones has got to full time in this game," wrote one fan on X.
Another added: "How has Curtis Jones stayed on this pitch?"
While a third wrote: "Klopp still leaves Curtis Jones on, absolutely laughable."

The defeat to Atalanta is Liverpool's final ever European match under Klopp, who will depart the club in the summer after nine largely successful years.
His sole focus will now be on the Premier League title race, his final chance to add his silverware won at Anfield.
